Deadly Train accident

This terrible accident affects our area: a commuter train and a freight train somehow shared the same track and slammed into each other. It happened on a busy commute day Friday, yesterday, during the rush hour. After we received a few calls, I wanted to post that thankfully, Scott is fine. Scott works close to the Metrolink station where this tragedy occurred. Scott is a commuter, but rides his bike, and if not his bike he rides the bus. We are grateful that our friend Joe who is a usual on the train commute decided to drive that day. It's put me in a reflective mood. I hope that there will be a peace with all those clinging to life, loosing a loved one. We will see on Monday if there was anyone from Scott's work or our ward involved. I'm afraid to know. Below is a clip from Associated Press. It is still in the early recovery phases, the impact was so massive. Please pray for the families in this area that healing will occur.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Emergency crews found more victims early Saturday, boosting the death toll to 17, as they delicately picked apart the mangled wreckage of a commuter train that collided head-on with a freight train on the same track.
More victims were feared trapped in the wrecked Metrolink commuter train. About 135 people were injured.
