Carter's Challenge for a Challenger

Carter has been really into the car, Dodge Challenger lately. So, I made him a deal. (as a parent you want to give them things to earn that they are into and can be motivators, right?)

I told him that if he increases his grades and becomes and independent student, meaning talking to the teacher to re-take a test or turn in an assignment, he will earn an all expense paid trip to the Dodge car dealership and be able to sit in the passenger seat for a test drive of the latest and greatest.

Needless to say, we are keeping this offer. Worked like a charm. And here's the picture perfect, happy boy who is on his way to being an independent student.

A very special thanks to the dealership for letting us do this on their busiest day of the year. I had no idea when we sent Carter, Scott, Jacob, and Larry all out on this adventure, that the car salespeople would be lined up and ready to wheel and deal. Thanks for helping this boy achieve. Carter, congratulations and yes...we will do this again.
