Shak'n going on

This is the earthquake map for California & Nevada. Click HERE for link of Recent Earthquake site. The reason why this is so _________ (interesting, exciting, scary, crazy, yikes) is because the area where the earthquake activities have been occurring is right by the BIG San Andreas Fault. So, here's some Emergency info that is well worth your time.
  1. Get some food & maps in your car. It could be an extra box of crackers, beef jerky, and a few water bottles if you have nothing else.
  2. Most Comprehensive Emergency info I've seen is here: LA Fire Dept (click for link) it covers: 72 hr kits, Emergency plans, What to do, cooking & shelter, shut off gas & water heaters.
  3. Keep shoes under or near your bed. Common injuries are from bare feet after the disaster.
  4. Flashlight and determine a "safe spot" in each bedroom.
  5. Don't forget sanitation. Heavy duty trash bags, wipes and sanitizer.
