Carter's magic feet ran farther than he had ever ran today. He didn't stop, he ran the whole way...super proud of that super boy. Jacob has the crazy legs of speed and he completed the run in a little over 30 minutes; way to go super speedy. Sperry took off like a rocket and those 6 years old legs can circle at a rapid pace. Our little one completed 1/2 the race by running all the way. She even beat almost all of those runners who decided to complete the whole race and were moving onto lap 2. For me, my approach was to make it fun, make some friends, and make it...to the end. All goals accomplished and we went on to having a wonderful time at the family style event. Thank you to all those who spent hours working on the behind the scenes. We had a wonderful time!
Now, I've got to get ready (and remind my super hot "date" to get ready). We are chaperoning for the Mormon prom tonight. I've had my power nap and am ready to bus tables and get out an boogie!! Thanks to my sweet hubby who is always game for my fun.
