This is the story of the "Cheese touch" and "the fish". One day two boys and their father procrastinated making their cars for an upcoming race. One boy kept replying, "I'm not participating!" This reply became the name and theme of his car, which was still in the box. The second boy, who was actually born first, continued to speculate if he was even going to be excited for this race. With 2 nights to spare, the boys and their very handsome father went and cut, sanded, and painted their cars. Suddenly, without notice, their cars took on personalities of their own. The "I'm not participating!" car became known as a quick and slippery fish. The second car took on the famous Diary of a Wimpy Kid, "Cheese Touch". During the race, there was a minor adjustment when the cheese touch shimmied down the raceway, too light in front. After borrowing some coinage, taping it to the front, and removing a washer from the undercarriage, the cheese touch continued to lead almost every race after the pit stop. Unfortunately, most of those races were held after the official races. And for the fish, well it continued to slip ahead of the competition. It must have been returning to the pool of it's heritage, it swam swiftly with such vigor and as for the boy who days before would exclaim, "I'm not participating".... well let's just say he was a happy one when his car came 2nd place of the entire group. Now, for the father...well he was happy to see that another successful year had transpired when the wheels stayed on the cars.
Yes, I'm in "cub" country and loving it. Way to go boys!!
